Premium Family is a discount plan for up to 6 family members who live together.
- Spotify has offered the free trial subscription for three months, and the offer is available till June 30 for all the users of Spotify. The student, couple, individual, and family plans users can apply for it. However, in India, Family, Student and individual plans are available.
- Click TRY PREMIUM FREE or GET PREMIUM. If you haven’t yet used your 30-day free trial version of Spotify, the green button near the top of the page will say TRY PREMIUM FREE. If you’ve already used your trial and have reverted to a free account, click GET PREMIUM. You’ll have to enter credit card details for your free trial.
Each person on the plan uses their own account, so no one shares a password and everyone keeps their own saved music and playlists

- Spotify Kids - an app packed with singalongs, soundtracks, and playlists made just for kids.
- Family Mix - a playlist based on the tastes of everyone on the plan.
- Explicit filter - the plan’s manager can choose if members get explicit music.
Start a Premium Family plan
Spotify Kids is free, but only if you subscribe to the Family plan already. Just log in with your main Premium Family account. A kid's profile on the app counts towards one of the six on your main.

The person who wants to manage the plan signs up. They can use their existing account or create a new one.
Note: You can’t change the plan manager once they’ve signed up.
Starting a plan means only you can:

- Invite and remove members

- Create Kids accounts
Note: If you already have Premium with a partner company (e.g your phone or internet provider), you first need to cancel with them and wait for your current Premium to end.
Join a Premium Family plan
To join someone else’s plan, you must:
- Live with the plan manager (the person who signed up)
- Log into (or sign up for) your own account
- Enter the correct address
Difference between spotify free and paid. The plan manager sends you an invite to join.
